Tony has written extensively about Glasgow and, in particular, about the town where he was born and bred - Shettleston.

Tony wrote the excellent "My Shettleston - memories of where I grew up", an account of his formative years in World War Two Glasgow. Despite the horrors of war, it was an exciting time for a young boy and Tony writes vividly about the exhileration of seeing the barrage balloons, wrecks of German planes and searchlights criss-crossing the skies.
